Our Story

Our Story

Our Story Begins with a Foundation of Family and Tradition

In the heart of Eastern Iowa, where the roads weave through communities and industries thrive, the story of Eggleston Concrete Contractors (ECC) begins with the grit and vision of one family. It was 1964 when Chad Eggleston’s grandfather, armed with nothing more than a few trusted partners and an unyielding work ethic, founded E&F Paving. This small venture quickly blossomed into one of the region’s most respected paving contractors, laying down not just concrete but the values of hard work, integrity, and quality that would span generations.

Years later, a young Chad Eggleston would follow in these footsteps, spending his formative years amidst the hum of concrete mixers and the rhythmic patter of spreading trowels. Each summer break was more than a job; it was a masterclass in the art of concrete, taught by the very family that helped pave the foundations of Eastern Iowa. In 1995, armed with a legacy of knowledge and a vision for the future, Chad and his wife Kristie decided it was time to pour their lives into their own venture, Eggleston Concrete Contractors.

Today, ECC is more than just a business. It’s a culmination of decades of familial dedication and a living testament to the enduring strength of well-laid concrete. As we continue to expand and embrace new challenges, our roots remain deeply embedded in the community and the values instilled by our predecessors. Our story is not just about concrete; it’s about building lasting relationships and being a part of the infrastructure that keeps our community strong and connected.
